What are your strategies for SEO?

Okay, so will confess that I had to work out what SEO actually stood for, so in short clearly I have zero strategies for this !

On the upside, some excellent replies to this prompt on WordPress, from the search-engine savvy to the community of personal life bloggers, for whom the Blog is more of a self reflection activity.
